Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Was I terminated or not?

Ihad surgery on July 15th and saw my doctor on September 15th for a recheck. He wanted me to be off another month but I wanted to go back to work. I was told to see how it went and if I was having pain to let him know and he would insist on another month off for me to heal. As it turned out going back was a mistake on my part. I ask and recieved a slip and took it to the HR department at work. With in a few minutes I was told I was terminated. Also I was told that when I was completly heal I could come back and fill out anothe application and have a job. Not the one that I had had but another. I have worked as a part time employee for over 2 years. Do I have a job or not? No one has giving me any info and should I see a lawyer?
