Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

termination

I have been discriminated against, wrongfully written up which I took before our Ethics Committee and had the write up removed as the manager of the department was found to have issued the write up wrongfully. On Sept 4, I received a notice from our HR department that after the Ethics Committee reviewed my claim I have been expunged and have a clean record. Well today, I was terminated because of another falsification on my managers part. In July I filed a claim with EEOC and have been riden like a bare back horse from this manager since. Is there anything I can do at this point.

Re: termination

I am sorry to hear that anybody was fired; hope you are coping.

Since u r at a critical stage, I will simply instruct you to obtain counsel. You did the right thing by filing an EEOC complaint. but let that be the last document which u prepare without counsel.

Your case should be taken on a contingent fee, so there is no excuse for delaying.

Anything said by you is discoverable. Talk about that with counsel. If u r in Pittsburgh, call Shelley Elovitz at Rothman Gordon. If in Johnstown, call Bob Brierton.

good luck
