Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Vacation pay when resigning from position

I work for a company located in Ohio. I live and work in PA as a field salesperson. I get paid salary and commission. When I normally take vacation, I continue to get paid both as I would if I were working. I am planning to resign, and will be entitled to 3 weeks vacation pay. Does my employer have to pay me only 3 weeks salary? What about commission? Getting the commission would double what I receive.

Thanks

The answer to your question depends largely on whether you have any written contract with your employer or an employee handbook that addresses the situation. If you wish to discuss this further, please call me at (215) 540-2633.
