Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Violation of privacy

Can I sue someone for violation of privacy if they videotaped-without my knowledge-me engaging in a sex act in a car with another person? The people doing the videotaping were my boyfriend's employers and he was subsequently fired, but what about the invasion of my privacy?

Re: Violation of privacy

You may very well have a viable claim for tortious invasion of your privacy rights. The key is whether you had a reasoable expectation of privacy. I would encourage you to contact a lawyer and get a comlete evaluation of the particular facts of your situation.
