Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
wrongful termination
I was recently fired on the bases of ''on going issues and because the company van I was driving got towed'', as my termination letter stated. Never been written up, no prior written warning notice, no verbal warning of any ''on going issues.'' Can they just fire me like that or do I have any other recourse for such action?

Re: wrongful termination
You asked if a person may be fired with no warning.
As I've discussed many times on this forum, as long as the firing was not discriminatory then an employer has wide latitude to terminate an employee in an at-will jurisdiction.
Please look at the other responses for a more thorough discussion.
