Do I have to use an Attorney in the state that my company is in, or can I use one in the state where I live ? Pa. vs N.J.

The attorney that you employ must have permission from your state government or court to practice in the state where you will be filing suit. In your case, suit should be filed in the state where you are employed; meaning, the state where you go to report to work on a daily basis.
