Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania
For the 2nd time in 4 months, me and my family are cought in the middle of a foreclosure issue between our landlord and his bank. Last time we were given 1 hour to vacate our home, with no notice. We finally get back on our feet find a new home and now its happening again. We found a sheriff sale paper on our door saying in 2 weeks it will be auctioned off. How much time do we have? And what step should we take next. Im not looking for a fight, i just dont want to end up on the street again because of larger companies taking advantage. Advice and guidance is all i seek. Thank you

How much time? Two weeks. When you look for your next place go to the recorder of deeds and check out the property deed and see if there are any mortgages. If there's more then 1 be suspicious, Next go over to the protonotary and do name searches on the property owners and see if they have any judgments or legal actions against them if they do walk away.
