Apartment Lease Termination
My apartment was burglerized recently. The police and I do not see any evidence of forced entry. Which leads us to believe that someone within the real estate office committed the crime because they are to only people who have access to the vestible door and my apartment. Some of the property taken was not in openly visible areas. Only someone who has been looking around my apartment while I was not home would know where to find those items. Due to the above situation, is there any other way that I can over rule my contract which will allow me to terminate my lease or change my renting status to month-to-month before the end of my original agreement?

The implied warranty of Habitability may be applicable. Some options might be to request management to change locks and restrict access to new keys. You can also request a change of lease terms, if they refuse you may have to sue to be released from lease due to their breach of the above mentioned warranty. I offer free consultations.

yes you may move to end your lease...if the facts are as you state them to be I would follow up with the police to conduct an investigation, they may be not want to follow up, but it is their job.....you can also litigate this matter and claim an action against your landlord.
