Am I legally obligated to supply my bank account number to the Pennsylvania Associantion of Realtors on a credit check application?

First off why is a Realtor running a credit check on you? To get pre-approved on a loan you need to contact a bank or a mortgage broker, NOT a realtor....this doesn't sound correct to me.
