Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Can i be taken to court for back Rent

My ex-boyfriend and i signed a lease together on April 2007. We never had any agreement for me to pay any rent or bills. It was understood that I went to school and took car of his kids. I never paid any rent or bills for that house. In sept. 2008 I broke up with him and was forced out of the house on sept. 29 by him throwing all my stuff out. I moved into a new place oct 1. He remained in the house and did not pay sept. nov or dec. rent and got himself evicted. The landlord took us both to court for the money. He eventually paid the money and now is taking me to court for half. can he get half the rent when there was never any agreement for me to pay rent and was kicked out in sept ? and can he get half the rent not only for those three months the landlord took us to court for but also the whole time we both lived there since april 2007?

Your name was on the lease, so you're liable for the rent.
