Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania
My fiance and I have been living in a month-to-month apartment for over a year. No lease. We recieved a note from the landlord this morning on the door stating "I want you to move out today". Is this legal? Can she do this? Doesn't she have to grant us atleast 30 days? I was under the impression because we've lived in the apartment for over a year that she must grant us 30 days to move out, with or without a lease.

Has nothing to do with a year. Its month to month. Therefore must give 30 days notice.
