landlord enter premises

my landlord entered my home while i wasnt here, he came over to do work outside of the house,we stayed home while he was here, he left and then we left, then he came back and enter my house while we where gone, can he legally do this?

No. Not unless there is an emergency in the house that he's coming in to abate--i.e., a pipe breaks and he comes in to shut off the water before the place floods.
