Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

My landlord gave us notice he is not renewing our lease and we have never paid rent late. They rented it to someone else but we do not want to move. I believe it is retalitation because we had a ton of sewage problem within the first 6 months of living here that I had to file a complaint to finally get fixed. Can he do this to us?

Unfortunately, the landlord can do this as long as the lease provides for such notice and he has followed the provisions in the lease. The only way to fight this would be if the landlord discriminated you because of race, color, gender, religion, etc. Sorry
