Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Can your landlord kick you out without a lease?

When I moved into the place where Iam living the landlords told us that we didn't need a lease because they were never going to kick us out. Now they have started petty BS and I was worried about getting kicked out. Do they have to give you time to get out? Do they have to give you notice?

Re: Can your landlord kick you out without a lease?

If you are concerns about your situation either have them place a lease in writing or retain an attorney, b/c without a written lease you are only considered a month to month tenant and one that does not have any protections a lease would normally provide to you.
