Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Regarding PA renting: One of my tenants just asked if his fiance can move in with him. He also told me that she is obligated by the corrections system to notify me that she has a criminal record. Am I legally allowed to ask about the charges? How would one typically handle this situation?

I don't know why not. Convictions are public record. You can find out what you want to know on the internet.
