Property abandment
We own a boatyard & campground. 2 different individuals have left behind a boat w/trailer and the other a travel trailer. One individual has moved and left no forwarding address (boat w/trailer)the other refuses certified letters and will not return calls (trailer). How can we get rid of property and can we collect storage fees?

What does your rental contract say?
When can you consider items abandoned and what are your remedies.
Self-storage facilities have certain statutory rights, maybe yopu can qualify for.
I believe both items are subject to some form of title registration with state. You can petition court to grant you title, work through Penndot(?) and get legal title and then sell for $ or scrap.
File lawsuit in DJ for rental money, get judgment and execute.
