Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania
I put my rent check in my mailbox today, and I received an email from my landlord tonight notifying me that he son, who also lives on the property in a different unit, picked up the mail claiming that I put it in his mailbox when I know I didn't. Either way, the piece of mail has his fathers name on it, not his. Is there anything I can do about this? Our landlords wife has harassed my family with something new every month, claiming that we have broken the lease when these claims are false.

Assuming you put a stamped envelope in you mailbox. You take you complaint to postal inspectors. You mail box is legally part of the US postal system As such only you and post office are allowed to place or take mail out of the box. Any body else has comintted a federal crime.
