Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania
roomate refuses to pay utilities
Our daughters roomate moved out with 9 months left on lease. They both signed seperate leases. Her roomate agreed to pay half the utilities. Now that she has moved out she refuses to pay her half of the utilities. Isn't she still liable for the utilities with her name still on the lease. She says she is liable for the rent but not the utilities. Do we have any legal right to make her pay half of the utilities?

Who's name is on the utilities? That is your answer.
