Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

i co signed a one year apartment lease in pa .however,guaranty paper i signed,states this; 'this guaranty shall remain in effect throughout the term of this lease and any continuation,modification,extension,or renewal thereof and so long as tennant may owe any sum to landlord. the liability of the undersigned -co signer - shall be continuing,absolute,and unconditional and landlord shall not be required to excersize remedies against tennant before proceeding against the undersigned -co signer" Is this paper that i signed,stating i can never get out of being my sons apartment co signer as long as he continues to renew his lease ? please explain.. thank you

That's pretty overreaching document cosigner note I've ever heard of. who drafted it? The real question why in God's name would you sign such an agreement? It might not be enforceable but why take the chance?
