Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Tenant will not leave!!!

We are evicting a woman for non-payment of rent and destruction of the property. We had court today, she did not show up @ Magistrates, and it was found in our favor. She has ten days to make an appeal. My question is if she files the appeal, how long will it take to get a new hearing? Can she can stay there without paying rent until the hearing? We just want her to leave- the smell coming from the dirty diapers on the floor of the apartment is awful and it needs cleaned so bad. Is there anything we can do? Or do we just have to wait and see what happens?

Re: Tenant will not leave!!!

If she appeals she will have to escrow the rent with the prothonotary. If she doesn't the eviction will go forward.
