Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

tresspassing on property

My husband and I let my brother live in our home while we were out of state. He paid our morgage payment but we had a verbal aggrement he would keep up the grounds. I was told the grounds were a mess and went to look and they were. My brother said I was tresspassing and that he could take legal action against me. I did not go in the house. Was I tresspassing on my own property? Could he take legal action against me?

Re: trespassing on property

If your name is on the deed and you didn't lease the property to your brother then how can you be trespassing.

While there can be verbal leases they are hard to prove.
