Vibral Agreement With Lease

i moved from phila to yok pa on feb 3rd i have spoken to he landlord many times over the phone when i got here from phila with my truck i spoke with the landlord and asked him if i could keep my dog before i signed the lease and before any money was exchanged the landlord made a Virbal agreement with me that yes i could keep the dog a few hours later at the time of signing the lease it was in the lease that no animals was allowed then i state can you put in the lease that you said i could have the dog he said he would make up a seperate lease and term and conditions of me keeping the animal on a serperate lease the next 3 days went buy he comes to me and says his wife said i could not keep the animal after he made the agreement with me then he said again i could keep the dog he would work something out with his wife another week went by then he brings over a letter said i couldnt have the animal then he gave me 15 days to get rid of the animal but a agreement was already made before the signing of the lease he waited until my check clear to say i can not have the animal i feel like i was traped into signing the lease if i was told that at the begining i would have never signed the lease What can i do about this if i go to court
