is this wrongful eviction?
I had an order of possesion filed against me to evict me from my apartment due to past due rent. When in court I was told that if I paid this money before the constable came to evict me, I would not have to move out. I paid half of it immediately, and I had the rest ready in enough time. On Friday I told my landlord I would have the remainder of the money for him on Monday. On Monday when I called he said it was too late and that I was being evicted on Wed. I reminded him of the judgement (which I have written proof of) that if I pay, I'm free and clear of eviction. He said he needed to call and check with the district court and that he would call me back. I spoke to him again on Tuesday asking him when he could come by, or if I could meet him somewhere to give him the money. He again pushed me off. The next time I called (Tuesday) I left him a message that I would leave the money at the house for him to pick up since I had to work the rest of the day. He never returned my call. On Wed, the day I was to be evicted, I still could not get ahold of him. So I left him a message again. That day the constable and landlord locked me out of my house, and took the money I left him. Is there anythign I can do?

Your option is to sue your landlord for breach of contract in the District Court venue where the apartment is located.
