There are a number of top firms in Philly (including mine) which are successful at handling major medical malpractice cases.

It's impossible to say that any have the "best record." Most med mal cases which are tried to a verdict are lost, regardless of the plaintiff's counsel. That's partly because med mal cases are very tough, and partly because the cases which get tried tend to have serious problems. Naturally, these firms (including ours) only tend to publicize their victories.
