Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania
I am a female in my 40s. My PCP sent to a gynecologist for a biopsy. The doctor was male and in his late 60s or early 70s started the exam by remarking on the size of my vagina and saying that I must have had really big babies. Then he was doing an internal exam and he commented that having sexual intercourse must be rough as he was simulating sexual intercourse with his fingers inside me. I left the office in tears and I never felt so violated in my life. My question: How should I report this and to whom? (his employer, a medical oversight board, the police, a lawyer?)

Reporting possibilities include your PCP, the state licensing board and his employer. If you think the gynecologist's treatment was criminal or warrant a civil suit consult with a personal injury attorney for advice on whether to file a police report.
