Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania
i was involved in an accident at work, i injured my foot ankle and back, i went to the hospital and told the emergency room doctor what happened and where i was hurting. he told me my back was probably just a lumbar strain and then xrayed my foot and ankle, he came back to my room and told me i had an ankle sprain. had the er tech wrap my ankle and foot gave me crutches and sent me home, i used the crutches for 3 days. every day my back got worse and hurt more so i stopped using the crutches and went and saw the workers comp doctor who checked my foot and ankle and said it wasnt healing and gave me an air cast. then took xrays of my back and found something wrong and sent me to get an mri. after the mri came back they found out i have a herniated disc l5 s1 with nerve damage. i now have to get a emg test done to see how bad my nerves are. after talking to the doctor it looks like its permanent i lose feeling in my foot and leg along with sharp pains down my legs and across my back! im not sure what i should do. is there anything i can do because of the er dr never checking my back even after i told him it was injured and also should i contact a lawyer to help with workmans comp?
any help would be appreciated.
thank you

It sounds like you may have 2-3 cases that you need representation for: 1. Personal Injury - Auto Accident 2. Worker's Compensation and 3. Med. Mal. It is imperative that you speak with someone experienced in these fields immediately, before you give any statements to insurance companies, etc. Your consultation would be free. 267-210-8752
