Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania

malpractice suit

went to lawyer yesterday to initiate malpractice suit. lawyer told me his law firm has an arisa agreement with the union i belong to and i will need to pay back for wrong operation out my winnings. my question is do all law firms have this agreement ?

Did you speak with a medical malpractice attorney?

There are, on occasion, liens which be paid back from the proceeds of a successful medical malpractice lawsuit, regardless of which attorney does the case. I have never heard of the particular arrangement you describe.

You might have misunderstood.
