Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania
What do you do if you know medical malpractice took place, but one lawyer holds it for 8 months and then says no I dont want to pursue it anymore and then you scramble to get another attorney and he keeps it another few months and now the time is pretty much out but you feel like you never got a fair chance or fair trial for your child who was damaged? What else can you do or who can you complain to if you feel this is even more injustice?

It is appropriate for you to seek answers to questions you have concerning your child's care. If your first Atty kept the case for months he was probaly attempting to find those answers. These matters are difficult to investigate.
The same may be said for the second lawyer.
You need to ask yourself what you have learned from their work. Did they obtain records of the questioned care. Did they conduct medical research? Did they consult any experts?
Did they conclude there was no basis to proceed? Were there conclusions reasonable in any way? Are your reasons for proceeding further based solely on there having been a bad result?
You know the answers to these questions. You are free to consult another firm. The time remaining may be limited by a limitation statute. Let the new lawyer, if you decide to go further, decide what,if anything, can be done in the time that remains.
Good luck.
