Re: Obligation

Perhaps the more important question is whether the hospital provided you with the needed personel at the times critical to the survival of your child.

It may be the case that your child's death waws inevitable but your brief description raises questions in my mind.

You should look further into this matter.

Re: Obligation

My condolences for your loss. The situation you describe raises a lot of questions, including whether your wife should have had closer monitoring in light of whatever made her high risk, and what steps could have been taken for a successful delivery.

Regarding your question, there's no way to give you a complete answer without having a nurse or expert physician review your wife's medical records closely.

My firm (and I personally) have handled numerous obstetrical malpractice cases, and you can find some descriptions of representative cases on our website. If not me, I strongly encourage you to contact an experience medical malpractice attorney soon so they can review your case and hopefully give you some answers.
