I have had these issues come up before. A burn in the hospital is usually a sign of negligence of some kind. Feel free to call our offices to discuss your options and recovery against the hospital.

You may have a meritorious claim on behalf of your son since a burn in the NICU Unit while your son is under the exclusive care of the Hospital's agents is the kind of avoidable injury which ordinarily occurs only if the Hospital was negligent. An investigation into how this burn occurred, and the nature and extent of your son's injuries is warranted. You should feel free to call my office if you would like to further discuss this matter. Our firm website is at www.meyersmedmal.com,and our phone number is 412-281-4100. I'm sorry to hear that this unfortunate injury occurred to your newborn son.
