Re: ankle fracture at exercise facility

There is insufficient information to determine whether you may have a claim for an injury sustained at your local gym. You say you were transferring from one piece of equipment to another. Were the three pieces of equipment where they usually were at the gym? Were they moved in such a manner that it was dificult to move from one area to the other? If so by who, the gym or members? what kind of equipment were you injured on? Generally, if you injure yourself while working out at a gym you may have the problem of assuming the risk. However if the equipment you were injured upon was caused by the dangerous proximity of the equipment to each other or other area in which it caused an unreasonable risk there may be some liability. It sounds with what little information you have provided that it may be a difficult case on which to place liability on the propreitor. then again I do not have enough information or facts. Did you report your injury to the management? If so what was the response?
