Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

Assault

I was in a fight which I supposedly

started. No injuries occurred during

the initial fight, but shortly after that

I was jumped by a crowd of people

and continually beaten. Once that

one was over and I was trying to

leave I was then attacked and

thrown to the ground where I was

beaten again. I suffered two

lacerations one above each eye and a

broken nose. My face is bruised as

well. I don't know who the assailants

were or any other names except for

the initial fight in which no injuries

happened. If I were to press charges

against the first person who was also

the owner of the house, would I have

a good case and a chance at getting

my medical bills paid?

Re: Assault

Your question appears to focus on getting your medical bills paid. if you were injured on the property of a private residence, and there is insurance on that property, you may be entitled to what is called "medical payments" coverage. This is coverage that pays for medical bills for anyone injured on the property, regardless of fault.

you may also have a claim for recovering a settlement for your injuries. however, winning that claim would depend on all the facts of your situation. please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss further.
