Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

Auto Injury

At the beginning of March I was in an automobile accident where the driver of the other car hit the right front of my car and I proceeded into a fire hydrant About two days later I went to the emergency room for treatment of kneck and back pain, I followed up with my Family doctor and was given a prescription for therapy I attended therapy for two weeks and the pain in my back went away The therapist felt I was well enough to continue home exercises but I am still getting bad migraine headaches. If I go back to the doctor will my auto insurance still cover this or do I have to pay out of pocket? Please help! Thank You!

Re: Auto Injury

You should go to the insurance company and have them pay for the medical treatment. If this is related to the auto accident then make them pay for it. Tell them you are still having continual headaches from the accident and you want reimbursement.

One more thing you might want to consider. Avoid settling this dispute right now. Wait a while and see if you have any more medical problems. If you settle with an insurance company and sign a release and then develop more medical problems as a result there is not much you can do about it. But if you wait and see what happens without going over two years from the date of the accident, you might be in a better situation. If you need more explanation talk to an attorney or give me a call at (610) 635-5555 and we will talk for free.

In PA you have two years to file a lawsuit from the date of the accident.

Hope this helps,
