Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I had a very bad experience in a hair salon of a department store. I experienced burns to my scalp because the salon had no water to rinse the chemicals out for atleast 5-10 min. After submitting a complaint I was contacted by a Customer Service manager from their corporate office and offered $50 gift card for my troubles. I told her I did not think that was appropriate and she offered $100 gift card and wanted me to sign a release form.

I was wondering if I should be looking for legal representation and what would be the customary compensation for something of this nature?

I would suggest you contact an attorney to discuss the exact facts of the case. I assume this happened recently. there is a two year statute of limitations for negligence. The severity of the burns and whether they will leave permanent scarring or require surgical intervention would impact on the possible valuation of the case.

A burned scalp is worth much more. Call me to discuss.
