Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I was in a caraccident about 5 months ago and was moderately injured. I spent the evening in the ER and have been on PT since. I see a doctor three times a week. Though I only lost one day of work, the pain has been severe. In addition, I do not drive, so I do not have auto insurance. My mother was driving, so it falls on her insurance and is against me doing anythig further. By the way, we were rearended and there was no fault of my mother.

If you are still in pain and treating three days a week after the accident I would definitiely look into the possibility of pursuing this further. There are issues that can complicate cases of this type however I would consult with a lawyer to discuss your options. If you would like to discuss this further feel free to call me at 215 322-2100.

I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation.

To answer your question, you do have a claim and can recover for your pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and any lost wages or unpaid medical bills that you may have.

If you bring a claim, it will not impact your mother's insurance rates, etc. You have 2 years from the date of the accident to make a claim. I would recommend you speak to a lawyer so that if you wish to pursue a claim, all of your rights are protected. Please feel free to call my office at (877) 699-7800 for a free consultation.

Regardless of what you decide to do, I wish you the best.

It sounds like you have a claim. You should definitely contact an attorney to talk about your recovery and options. Also, bringing a claim will not affect your insurance rates. Feel free to call our office: 267.639.3105.
