Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I have a case pending with Supervalu with Acme Markets. In November 09 I slipped in Acme due to negligence on Acme's behalf I injured my knee causing swelling and cartilage damage I was treated for the injury. Supervalu said they would reimburse me for time loss from work and for my medical bills. They have recieved all medical bills and information they need. I have placed numerous calls to find out what is going on with the case and no phone calls back. It has been over a month since the last I heard from the individual who is handeling my claim. I'm not sure what actions I should take next.

You should talk to an attorney right away. It sounds like you are at the claims stage, and you may not be receiving value from the claims adjuster for the Acme Market. If they do not offer you good value for your case, you should consider promptly filing suit. Feel free to call our offices. We handle many of these premises liability claims and would be able to help. 267.639.3105.

Nothing is as simple as it seems. Even though you think your case is a "slam dunk", all slip and fall cases have lots of potential problems--you don't know what you don't know! It sounds like you may be entitled to more than just medical bills and wage loss, but I have to ask you lots of questions before I can be sure. Please call to discuss ASAP (and stop talking w/ Acme!).

It would be advisable to speak to an attorney immediately to discuss the facts of your situation. I would not speak with Acme or its representatives before you speak with an attorney to evaluate your situation. If you would like to discuss this further feel free to cal my office at 215-322-2100.
