Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania
Compensation for personal injury lawyers
I would like to know if all personal injury lawyers work on a contingency basis or if some of them charge as they go along on their cases.

It can vary, depending upon the case. Sometimes, the lawyer may not want to be "out of pocket" on the expenses, during the discovery and litgation.

Lawyers should offer their clients an hourly rate or flat fee if the client wishes to pay upfront. Thisis especially so where the work is is routine. (i.e. Rear end auto accident minor physical injury)
