Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I am self employed with the Federally mandated health insurance in place. I build stone walls. I was injured while working on a private homeowners property and will be unable to work for the rest of the year. Of course their homeowners does not cover this incident, but they want me to talk to their insurance company anyway. should I give a statement to them or not. Doesn't seem right to me. Am I now responsible for all the bills or do they have any liability? Thank You.

Thank you for your question,

I would not recommend that you speak to their homeowner's insurance carrier without your Attorney present because if the condition on the property which caused your injury was a condition created by the homeowner's negligence, then you would have a right to sue the homeowner for negligence, in which case his homeowner's insurance carrier would be required to step in and pay for your medical expenses, as well as other fees and costs you incur.

Kindest regards,
