I would suggest that you stop talking to the insurance company, don't sign any papers sent by them, and immediately retain a lawyer. Its hard to say at this point what you would be entitled to without knowing all of the facts of the case, including what you said to the insurance company and whether you signed anything.
Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss this further. I offer free consultations and handle these sort of cases on a contingency fee basis (ie: no fee unless there is a recovery).

Insurance Companies are not in the business of paying unrepresented injured victims. There are a number of factors that come into play when evaluating a claim. A personal discussion with an attorney is the best way to analyze your case. Most experienced contingency lawyers will speak with you for free. I strongly urge you to speak with one immediately.
Do not deal with the insurance company. Have your attorney deal with them. They may not be telling you the full story on the coverage on the Homeowners Policy. Feel free to call my office to discuss your options and potential recovery. No charge for consultation: 267.639.3105. www.cevalloswong.com.
Hello,
1. Stop talking to any adjuster or investigator immediately...it can only hurt you at this point.
2. Consult with a lawyer...just about all of us will consult for free :)
3. Do not give any descriptions of the accident to any other medical personal.
