Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania
Intentional tort/premise liability
i was injured on girlfriends rental propery when roof leaked thru ceiling and ceilng tiles collapsing and injuring my back(strained lumbar/left knee(sprained knee). the landlord was notified numerous times to fix and promised to send someone over. i am in therapy and i cannot go to any other dr except er room b/b i have no insurance. the landlord has been in fla for the past 2 months. he finally returned yesterday only to say that he is not responsible for injuries when tenant invites guests in home. i asked for his insurance company name and he declined to say and he also said that i was injured at another location. the roof was tarred and the tiles rplaced but the original ceiling is still in need of repair. if the tar gives, the ceiling will get moisture and fall again and i told him but nothing was done. what damages is he responsible for? i am off work, have no insurance to cover bills and there is forseeable danger in the ceiling? i have a 3 yr old daughter who lives there and it is very dangerous. i am suffering physicaly and mentally. what am i entitled to?

Re: Intentional tort/premise liability
There are many issues here. There is a very strong possibility that the landlord is liable for your injuries. A more detailed analysis is needed. The landlord does have legal obligations to you as an invitee. Please feel free to contact if you need any assistance.
