How long after signing a release form with your lawyer does it take for you to receive your money?

Re: money
I am amazed at how often I hear this question. If you are talking about the day that the case settles, then you should expect that it takes a little while. You have to get the release, get the funds from the other side, sign your distribution sheet, then get the funds. So if the case SETTLED the other day, don't be in too much of a hurry. If, on the other hand, you know the funds are in, you've signed your distribution sheet, and there is nothing left to do, then you should receive your money soon. Unfortunately, the only thing to do is to be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease.
Re: money
If it's more than 2 weeks, I'd be concerned.
