Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

rent

my roommate skipped out on me and fled the country and she left owing the building money for unpaid rent and unpaid electricity and now the collection agency is after me. i have paid my share every month on time. now shes gone but i do know where she went. what can be done about this? how can i make her pay this money because i dont think i should be responsible.

It sounds like your ex-roomate is "judgement proof". If someone can't pay a judgement and has no assets to collect upon recovery of money is nearly impossible. If you have certain personal identificatiuon information a credit check or background investigation may be able to locate the roomate and determine her ability to pay.
