Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

For nearly seven years, a young man has been living in my home without paying rent or helping out with any of the bills. We used to be friends but have drifted apart , and I would like him to move out. He claims I have to EVICT him, or else he won't go. But all the information I can find on eviction addresses non-payment of rent, etc. He has never paid any rent nor had any lease. When I ask him to move, he threatens to burn down my house, When I respond by saying that I will call the police, he says they can't do anything until he actually DOE it, and by then the house will be gone. What can I do?

Your problem is a landlord tenant problem, not a personal injury tort law problem. You will have to go through the eviction process. It's very tedious. If you can afford it, you should find an atty who knows how to do it. If you do it w/o an atty, you run the risk of messing-up unless you feel you have the ability to read and understand the landlord tenant laws. You will have to sue for possession at your local district justice. Once you win, you will have to go through the eviction process. Go to your local district justice. They will avoid giving you legal advice, but they may help you with the procedure.
