Legal Question in Product Liability in Pennsylvania

Sold a Car

I sold a friend a vehicle as is and I agreed to accept $150.00 a month until paid I had hime sign a paper to that effect. he did not pay me and I went to court today to sue hime for the money owed. His attorny came back with Statutory Default compliance with u.c.c section 2101 and 2102 does this apply since it was a personal sale not commercial sale
