Legal Question in Product Liability in Pennsylvania

WC and Third Party

My wife became ill because of a product that was used at her place of employment. The employer would never release the name of the maker to us. We proceeded with a WC case because we were advised by counsel to do so. Well the WC Judge ruled that my wife did not become ill because of her workplace, and we are appealing that decision. We finally found out the name of the third party. We know it was their fault. Can we still proceed with a products liabilty case against them? The company is located in Hong Kong.

you can sue the mnfg however it is very expensive to handle these type of cases. How sick is she.
