Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

there are 2 properties next to each other. One had a spec home built on it with the downspouts draining into the ground buried. I bought this after it sat for 2 years. Another person ended up buying the adjacent property a few months ago. He is now telling me I have to dig up that drain and make it drain elsewhere because its keeping a spot in the yard wet. what are my options?

Move your drain spout if the neighbor is correct that water from your property is causing damage to his property. Doesn't matter if it was there or not. You are not privileged to dump water from your property onto your neighbor's property.

Whether you have any cause of action against the person who sold to you is a different matter. I would suggest that you consult with a real estate litigation or construction litigation attorney who handles these types of issues.
