Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

2 trees fell on my property from a neighbor's property, before i could talk to him as a good neighbor about taking the wood to burn for heat for my house, he had an independent contractor cut up and remove the wood on my property without my permission. the contractor took the wood as partial payment for cleaning up those trees and other trees that just fell on his property. do i have a right to that wood?
