Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

we have a 202 yrs old attatched home. When we bought the home the realtor never told us we had to have an FHA inspection. We didnt pay for it because we could not afford it. But the home should have never been sold to us without it. Now we are suffering from this turmoil because all the rugs, dropped ceilings they had we took out and underneath is a mess with floors caving in, ceilings are leaking and decaying, they said the electric was updated and it wasn't, total mess. We are giving the house up because we feel it is unsafe.

Just a general observation: FHA inspections are required only when FHA financing is involved. All buyers should have a professional inspection, for many of the reasons you list. Here you are, having bought a house, and now you are finding all kinds of serious problems. You might have found out before you purchased, and saved yourselves a lot of money and heartache.

Depending on how long ago you bought the house, and what was disclosed (or known but not disclosed) by the seller, you may have a claim.
