Adding a name to a Real Property Title?

My inlaws are separated and both names are on the house they own. Can my father-in-law add someone else to the title, against the mother-in-law's wishes?

I do not believe they can. When married, they own the property by a tenancy by the entireties, and the general rule is that one spouse cannot convey an interest in the property without the consent of the other spouse. I can think of no relevant exceptions.
