Adverse Possession in Pennsylvania. House Bill 773 (sponsored by Masser) amends the Judicial Code (Title 42) by adding a section providing for acquisition of title to real property by adverse possession in 10 years instead of 21.

This is due to all the vacant property in around our cities such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, etc. They are trying to get property back on the tax rolls faster and help alleviate the city's blight problems.
